Digital Sales and Marketing Administrator

We are a profitable, growth-stage startup and our investors include Y Combinator, Hearst Lab, and 43North. We’re looking for a Digital Sales and Marketing Administrator to support our GTM lead to join our team.
What You'll Do
As a Digital Sales and Marketing Administrator at HiOperator, you’ll help assist the GTM Lead and enable the sales process by performing sales and marketing tasks, conducting outreach to pre-screened contacts, supporting the online presence of the company and leadership, and contributing to the effectiveness of the sales process.
Specifically, this role will operate largely “behind the scenes” to help enable a Senior Enterprise AE to close deals more effectively. This role is not a quota carrying role.

Specific responsibilities will include:
- Support the online presence and marketing efforts of HiOperator and Executive leadership
- Draft and post digital media content for the organization
- Create and support digital media content for executive leadership
- Support, promote, and manage digital events
- Capturing prospect interest by sending timely email replies to prospects who reply to outbound email campaigns, answering initial questions and booking appointments for senior internal stakeholders
- Ensuring recordkeeping by:
- Cleaning CRM data, manually scraping leads, researching prospects, etc
- Taking detailed notes during sales calls
- Making sure CRMs are correctly updated with notes & account stages
- Inputting next steps:
- Drafting follow up emails after sales calls
- Inputting calendar reminders/CRM tasks for next touch points
Here are some of the attributes we expect you’ll need to be successful in this role:
- Previous customer service, administrative assistant, or sales support experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills: thrive on communicating with internal & external stakeholders
- A high level of attention to detail
- Strong oral and written communications skills
- Fast typing & reading comprehension speed
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and move at speed
- Ability to work independently and also as an engaged member of a team.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and Powerpoint/Google Slides
Preferred Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, or another related
- area of study
- Expert knowledge of social media, mobile apps, and mobile marketing that includes digital advertising on a self-serve platform, strategies around auction and biddable and creative best practices
- Experience working in a sales or account management role
- Proven track record of reaching and exceeding sales goals with experience around managing KPIs that derive around revenue, growth rates and being flexible to targets that evolve on a monthly basis
- Passion for social media/entertainment marketing, and up for the challenge of building something from the bottom up
